Located in the pulsating heart of the Eternal City, the Singer Palace Hotel stands as an icon of elegance and sophistication in Rome’s hotel panorama. Not only for the luxury hospitality it offers today, but also for its architecture, which bears witness to its origins. The history of the Singer Palace Hotel dates back to the 19th century when the Singer family, famous for their sewing machine production, decided to open their headquarters in the heart of Rome. The building was enriched by interventions from local artists who created the iconic “suspended” staircase – so called for its self-supporting steps, made of Arabescato Corchia marble and with a balustrade crafted with the futuristic croma luminio, adorned with walnut wood friezes and modern galatite, a plastic derived from milk, a precursor to today’s synthetic plastics. The architecture of the Singer Palace Hotel is a true tribute to the elegance and grandeur of the Art Deco period. The façade, enriched with finely crafted architectural details, stands out for its magnificence. Inside, the salons and original decorations testify to the building’s past. After years of neglect, the building has been carefully restored with attention to detail to bring it back to its former glory. The new Singer Palace Hotel skillfully combines the charm of the past with modern conveniences, offering guests an unforgettable experience in the heart of Rome. Two panoramic terraces are available: one reserved for Jim’s Bar, led by Bar Manager Federica Geirola, who has crafted an innovative mixology menu, and the other for the Le Terrazze Restaurant, headed by Chef Alessandro Fiacco, offering traditional Roman dishes with a contemporary touch. Today, the hotel welcomes its guests with contemporary elegance. The rooms and suites, tastefully furnished with attention to detail, offer a refuge of comfort and tranquility in the heart of the city, as well as a convenient base for exploring the Eternal City. c i t y e s c a p e Singer Palace Roma 92
