Jazan Farasan Island Among the Pearl Merchants Jazan is the doorway to the islands of Farasan, a coralline archipelago in themiddle of the Red Sea. Here the pearl merchants of the past centuries became wealthy building opulent jewel-box residences. Every corner of the façade and interior has been coveredwith geometric bas-reliefs composed of elaborate lacework.
